Terms of service

The agreement between you and Croven AI (Private) Limited for using Converge.

Effective Croven AI (Private) Limited

1. About these terms

Converge (learn.crovenai.com) is run by Croven AI (Private) Limited, registered in Pakistan ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a plan or using Converge, you agree to these terms and to the refund policy, which is part of them. The privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Who can use Converge

  • You must be 16 or older. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it and delete its data.
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve any purchase.
  • An account is for one person. Don't share it, sell it or run several.

3. Your account

Sign up with email or with GitHub or Google. Keep your details accurate and your password secret; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at info@crovenai.com if you think someone else used it. You can download your data or delete your account at any time in the app.

4. What you get

  • Free: the walkthrough (“Before you start”) and the first lessons, “The most obedient thing in the world” and “Inside the box”.
  • Full access: every season, the labs, the project checks and the AI tutor of the Converge course.
  • Converge teaches skills. It is not a degree or accredited qualification and does not guarantee a job or any other result.

5. Plans and payment

Card payments are handled by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), our merchant of record. Creem charges you, issues your receipt and handles sales tax and VAT, under its Buyer Terms. We provide Converge under these terms.

  • Monthly ($4.99 a month) is a subscription. It renews automatically every month and charges your card until you cancel.
  • 6 months prepaid ($26.95 for 6 months) is one payment for 6 months of access. It never renews. Buying again while it runs adds the new period after the current one.
  • Earlier one-time purchases keep the terms they were sold under.
  • There is no free trial. Prices are in US dollars; tax is added at checkout where it applies.
  • We may change prices for new purchases. We will email you at least 30 days before a price rise applies to your running subscription, so you can cancel first.

6. Renewal and cancelling

  • Cancel any time on your account page (Cancel subscription), in Creem's billing portal, or by emailing us from your account's address.
  • After cancelling you are not charged again, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. You can resume before then.
  • If a renewal payment fails, access ends at the end of the last paid month.
  • Deleting your account cancels a monthly subscription at once, so you are not charged again.
  • A prepaid plan simply ends. We email you shortly before it does.

7. Refunds

See the refund policy. It includes the 14-day right to withdraw for consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Nothing in these terms takes away refund rights the law gives you. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; while a chargeback is open, the access bought with that payment is paused.

8. Projects and results

  • To submit a project, you link a GitHub repository you own. We read it through GitHub, may call the demo address you give us, and may run your code in an isolated container. Some parts are reviewed by our team.
  • A passing result means one commit of one repository passed our checks when we ran them. It is not a certificate, a security audit or our endorsement of you.
  • We may change or re-run checks, and change or remove a result that was not honestly earned.
  • Never commit passwords, API keys or the project test key we give you.

9. The AI tutor

Tutor answers come from third-party AI models and can be wrong. Check anything important. The tutor has a daily limit and often gives hints rather than full answers. Don't send it passwords, keys or other people's personal data. If you add your own AI key, your questions go from your browser straight to that provider under your own agreement with it.

10. Acceptable use

Learners from 16 years old use Converge, so these rules apply everywhere others can see what you do: tags, profiles, crews, posts, memes, duels, vouches and projects. Don't:

  • harass, threaten or demean anyone, post sexual, hateful or illegal content, or ask a learner for private contact details or images;
  • impersonate anyone, including our staff, or post other people's personal information;
  • spam, advertise or scam;
  • submit work you didn't do yourself, copy another learner's project, fake commits, share your code word or test key, or game our checks;
  • trade vouches or use extra accounts to boost yourself;
  • submit malware, secrets or code that tries to escape the checker or attack other systems;
  • use bots to earn points or use the tutor, use the tutor as a general free chatbot, or try to get around limits, the paywall or privacy settings;
  • ask the tutor or any AI feature to produce sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content, or anything that could harm a person;
  • scrape or share paid content, or overload or break into Converge.

Using AI tools, docs and open-source code is fine where the brief allows it, as long as you can explain the result. Actions have fair-use limits, and we may change them.

Reporting. Use the report option in the app, or email info@crovenai.com. Found a security problem? Email us with "Security" in the subject, test only with your own account, and give us time to fix it. We won't take legal action over good-faith research that follows these rules.

11. Your content and ours

  • Yours stays yours. You own your code, projects and posts. You let us store, run (for checks) and show them only as needed to provide Converge, and only show publicly what you choose to make public. This ends when you delete the content or your account.
  • We don't sell your content or use your private code to train AI models. We may use feedback you send without paying you.
  • Ours stays ours. Lessons, reels, labs, checks, software and the Converge and Croven AI names belong to us. You may use them for your own learning, and use lesson code snippets in your projects, but not copy, resell or republish the course.

12. Changes

  • We improve Converge all the time and may change lessons and features. We won't substantially reduce what a paid period includes; if we have to, you can cancel and get the unused part back.
  • If we close Converge, we will give at least 30 days' notice where we can, stop renewals and refund unused paid time (and one-time purchases made in the 12 months before we announced it).
  • If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you at least 30 days before. The date at the top shows the current version.

13. Suspension and closing accounts

You can delete your account at any time. We may remove content, reset results, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable we tell you why first; for serious abuse or fraud we may act at once. A suspended account can still download its data. If we close your account for breaking these terms, there is no refund unless the law requires one; for any other reason, we refund unused paid time. To appeal, email us within 30 days and someone not involved will review it.

14. Disclaimers and liability

  • We provide Converge with reasonable care and skill, but otherwise "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that lessons, AI answers or checks are always right.
  • We are not liable for lost profits, jobs, opportunities, or data or code you didn't back up.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
  • Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
  • You are responsible for losses you cause us by breaking these terms or the law.

15. Governing law and disputes

Please email us first: we reply within 14 days and try to resolve it within 30. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Peshawar have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer laws and may bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows.

16. General and contact

If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over Converge, without reducing your rights; you may not transfer your account. We send notices by email or in the app. These terms are written in English.
