Season 7: Alive.
FRIDAY runs 24/7 for real people. Keep it alive at 2 a.m., peek at the research frontier, and put it all together.
FRIDAY runs 24/7 for real people, and things break at 2 a.m. Learn monitoring, drift, safe model swaps, incidents and privacy, peek at the edge of research and open your first upstream pull request, then put it all together in a public demo you can defend (Project 7).
How you learn
Alert rules, a postmortem, a reward you can check and a whole-system design, all from memory.
What you build
Dashboards and alerts, an upstream pull request, and a public demo of FRIDAY you can defend.
The weeks
- Week 24Running for real
You can monitor FRIDAY for real people, catch drift early, swap its model with a gate and a canary, run an incident and write a blameless postmortem, and keep its logs private and its labels honest.
- Week 25The edge of the map
You can read a paper in three passes, explain rewards a program can check and how they get hacked, say why memory limits AI chips, and open a real upstream PR.
- Week 26Converged
You can review FRIDAY's whole design, draw it on a whiteboard, price every part honestly, demo it to strangers, defend your choices to a tough reviewer, and choose what comes next.
Projects
- Project 7: The public demo
FRIDAY live for strangers, with a system diagram, a cost sheet and a demo you can defend. Weeks 24–26.
